Since its founding in 1987 the Theater Courage has quickly become established among fringe theatres. The little backyard theatre is run by professional actors Gabi Dauenhauer and Peter-Maria Anselstetter. While in the early years critical and ambitious subjects dominated their repertoire today’s audience prefers comedies. Funny and ironic in-house productions or musical revues are long runners in the Rüttenscheid based theatre with the cosy atmosphere.
