Use of social Plugins

Social plugins from various social networks on the Internet (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram) are integrated into our website. These enable you to set bookmarks on the site and to share these bookmarks with other participants in the social network. You can recognise social Plugins by the logos that can be seen on the websites of social networks. These enable you to set bookmarks on the site and to share these bookmarks with other participants in the social network. We offer you a ‘two clicks’ solution to use this facility: when the site loads, buttons are displayed to you but they are deactivated: there is no communication with Facebook, Google+ or Twitter. Only when you decide that you want to share the content do you activate the button by clicking on it with the mouse, then click a second time to initiate the process.
See in this connection ‘TWO CLICKS FOR DATA PROTECTION’

If you then access a page on our website that contains these social Plugins and have the relevant button activated, a direct Internet connection is established with the social network and from there the Plugin icon that is visible to you and the functions behind it are transferred directly to your browser, which integrates them into the display of our web page.

If at this time you are logged in to the social network with your username and password, the information that you are visiting our site is sent to it and can be added to your user account. If you interact with the social Plugins, i.e. if you share one of our pages, for example, ‘Like’ or ‘Share’ it on Facebook, or use the ‘Tweet This’ function on Twitter, the content of our pages is linked to your profile on the social network.

On our website, we use the web service of the provider www.tagtray.com, which integrates a selected Instagram image stream into our website. If you click on images from the image stream provided while you are logged in to your Instagram account, content from our page can be linked to your Instagram profile. In this way, Instagram can link your visit to our site to your user account. If you are not a member of the social networks, there is nevertheless the possibility that at least your IP address will be transmitted and saved there.

We wish to point out that different data protection policies and liability provisions apply to these linked websites of third-party operators. The saving and use of data by the site operator, when these linked sites are used, may exceed the extent of this data protection policy. Further processing on linked social networks, the period for which the information is saved and the purpose for which it is used is determined exclusively by those providers.

More detailed information about the social Plugins used and the data protection policies of the providers can be found under the following links:

Among other things, YouTube uses Cookies to collect video statistics, prevent fraud and improve the user friendliness of their website. This also leads to the establishment of a connection with the Google DoubleClick network. If you play a video, this could trigger further data processing events. We do not have any influence on this. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP-address and the (start-) address entered in the context of the route planner function, can be transmitted to Google. The contents of the maps are transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website by the browser. A so-called “Cookie” is stored on your computer by Piwik for this purpose. This “Cookie” is stored for seven days, allowing us to collect the following data:
