#13 | Steps Between Wars | light installation

Petar Šćulac, Croatia

“Steps Between Wars” is the third installation within the framework of “Imagine Peace.” The Pula-based artist Petar Šćulac combines wood, wire mesh, and hand-shaped concrete with precise light projections. This interplay creates shifting shadows and architectural outlines that spread across the surrounding walls, transforming the space into an immersive environment. The installation is meant to illustrate that human experiences of war and peace are always intertwined and can never be completely separated. Visitors are invited to move within the installation and thus become part of the artwork.
