In the installation "Light Scenarios of the Apocalypse - Interactive Visions", visitors are invited to break through the laser-constructed safety barriers. In doing so, they become active and do not remain passive, which would be exactly the wrong thing to do in such turbulent times. In this way, the Christian understanding of the apocalypse also stands for a perspective of hope that mobilises forces. With its light installation, the Marktkirche is one of six locations for the "APOKALYPSE" exhibition, which the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland is showing in 2024.
